Our stay at Lone Mountain Ranch was a dream come true. The charming Bald Eagle cabin provided the perfect rustic chic atmosphere, complete with a record player and cozy wood fire stove. The abundance of snow made for fantastic skiing and snowboarding, and the Saloon offered live music and flights of Montana whiskey. The breakfast at Horn and Cantle was a must-try, with homemade scones that were simply amazing. The highlight of our trip was the magical sleigh ride dinner in the gently falling snow. We can't wait to come back and experience more of Montana in the summer. I highly recommend Lone Mountain Ranch for a dreamy getaway.

Really enjoyed the warm welcome from the driver and the little extras like snacks and water. The location was breathtakingly picturesque and there were plenty of outdoor activities to do. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the staff were exceptionally accommodating to dietary requirements.
Some small concerns were that there was a lack of staff to greet guests, causing a delay in check-in. Additionally, there was a noise complaint despite our cabin being quiet all week, which was handled poorly with a late night text and no investigation into the source of the noise.

Nestled by a serene river and surrounded by majestic mountains, this rustic retreat offers a truly picturesque setting. Guests can enjoy the calming sound of the brook from their cozy cabins, like the Bald Eagle cabin with its charming record player and wood fire stove. The staff goes above and beyond with their friendly and helpful service, ensuring a memorable stay. The restaurant serves fantastic food, with highlights like homemade scones for breakfast. Activities such as cross-country skiing and sleigh rides add to the allure of this tranquil getaway.
Some guests may find the lack of phones in the rooms or AC/ceiling fans to be inconvenient, and the hike up to the cabins could pose a challenge for those with mobility issues.
Tourists from United States often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
